The Trade Winds of New Orleans appears to have been designed by a close friend of the developer. Someone just getting his start. Maybe someone who had just a jot more artistic ability than the rest of the lads. It doesn’t quite hang together – the peculiar harlequin façade, the made-up typeface that looks like some proto-Flintstones font. It’s still there – but how dry it is, can’t say.
