Why start here? I don't know. Most sites about the Fair usually start with big splashy pictures, grand modern views. The glory of the Fair! But it's the innumerable humble items I love, the things people carried, bought for a nickel, sent home to friends and family. This was a gag item, as you'll see. But even the simplest things bore the marks of the event - the color scheme, the logo, the typefaces. Everything was stamled with the brand.
