When I first put up this page, I’d discovered the work of Peg Lynch & Alan Bunce. I was delighted by her radio sitcom, The Couple Next Door - she wrote and starred in it - and decided to capture the snippets of library music used by the show in its 1958 - 1960 run.

One thing led to another, and I ended up getting to know Peg before she passed, and performing her scripts in England. You know, the usual way things after you discover something that aired a half-century ago.

I’ve taken down all my Peg Lynch sites, because she has her own website now, run by her daughter, Astrid. But the cues are still here, and I’ve posted about a tenth of what I’ve snipped over the years. The composers, according to this source, included Wilbur Hatch and Dean Elliot, Bill Lava, and others.

Let's begin!
