| Standing on Park Avenue, this nondescript 20s skyscraper has a series of carvings on the ground floor - dozens and dozens of faces of contemporary citizens. Not all have weathered well - which makes their ordinariness all the more poignant, perhaps. In the next few pages you'll see perhaps a twentieth of the total number of faces. (Dun and Bradstreet seems to be the main tenant; hence the name of this section.) |
