Hotel Edison. Another gigantic mountain range. To give you an idea of the scale and size of hotels in this era, my favorite reference book, "New York 1930," doesn't even include a picture - it merely includes the Edison in a list of "smaller hotels" that went up in and around Times Square.
Smaller. Look at the picture again, and tell yourself: it's one of the smaller hotels.
