Licensing Convention, New York 1994. Mr. T was celebrating the first issue of his new comic book. (There weren't many others.) We engaged in a loud argument here - he threatened, I countered, he blustered, I guaranteed ass-whupping, etc. It was absolutely impossible not to like the guy.

Toy Fair, New York, 1993. One of the big Sure Things of the next season was a piece of kidvid dreck called Moo Mesa. Crime-fighting cows. There was a PR flack with a Polaroid, eager to get a picture of every member of the media standing next to an underemployed actor wearing a hot stinky cow head. I obliged.
