Apologies, everyone – I forgot to upload some critical files in advance. I will make amends later, but will all be up and running tomorrow. There should be a Substack up, perhaps around noon, and it will be a full bleat experience and free for all. Thank you for your patience.

The funeral was this past weekend, which is yet to come.
Got it?
No? Well, the thing about doing these ongoing blogs, never skipping a workday, always there, is that one must anticipate in advance the days of transit and obligation. By the time you read this I will be home. I hope. But at the moment it is late in the day and I am facing the full horror of a Seven AM Flight, and that’s just the start of it. I expect we will make it. Then it’s the technical challenges of playing the slideshow that has consumed 147% of my brain and heart for the last seven days. After that I can relax. I have triple redundancy with cables and storage, but hey: you never know.
Natalie is home, and that’s sweet. No one is looking forward to rising at O’Dark Thirty, but I made some homemade breakfast egg-and-sausage sandwiches so we can nuke and run, because there’ll be bugger all at the secondary terminal at the airport at 6:00 and no time to stand in line.
Anyway, I have to upload this just so I have something for Monday besides Blackhawk and Matchbooks. Because . . . duty, I guess.

Your first choice in canned hominy:
Ooh, tunny fish! Or, as we call it today, tuna.

It's time for Blackhawk and the Blackhawks!
Does he now.
If you recall, the saboteur, who’d been in Blackhawk uniform - that would be Stan - had mined the runway, and then the plane landed, and kaboom.
Well, Chop Chop to the rescue, sort of:
Now let is all run in one direction together!
The Saboteur is Stan’s Twin Brother, by the way. He survives a gas attack and kidnaps Chop 2X. It is hard to describe how cheap and bad all of this is, so . . .
Does it really matter if you know precisely what's going on? Nah.
They follow the kidnapper and Chop 2X to the obligatory scrub-brush hills location, where the Commies are holed up doing Commie things. They contact the LEADER, who we don’t see because he is mysterious.
They’re supposed to kill Chop 2X and blow ups the cabin. Naturally, they just do this . . .
They save Chop 2X, learn of an imminent attack on “a defense plant” that’s 2 1/2 hours away. Now let is all run in one direction together again! That's our signature move!
Takes them about five minutes to find the “defense plant,” and the cops don’t find anyone, but Blackhawk says he’ll take another look. And so:
Okay, that’s not bad.

That'll do. Back with the full array tomorrow.
