Is he giving a demo of the Chromelac, or with the Chromelac? Or by the Chromelac and for the Chromelac, that it shall not perish from the earth? No matter. He's a scientist! go right in! Security seems rather lax among the Warmonger-American community, it seem.s
Simms attends a demonstration of “Chromelac,” which is so powerful it leaves the room, furniture, drapes, rugs and inhabitants intact. It does turn investors' heads the same putty color, but this hardly seems fearsome. Perhaps it's a gigantic flashcube, and temporarily blinds people, makes them see a little bright dot; while they amuse themselves looking around the room - hey, the dot's wherever I look! Hyuk - the warmongers swoop in and seize control of your strategic resources and key bridges. Simms is peeved, and upbraids the inventor. Simms seems to think that “Chromelac” should be used for peace – how, we’re not entirely sure, since we don’t know what it does. But the inventor will have none of that – profits to be made, don’t you know. Simms seems to believe that selling “Chromelac” will result in the US being drawn into a European war. How? If the Brits use it to wipe out the Nazis, wouldn’t this preclude US involvement in a wider conflict?
No matter. He threatens to sic the guy he found in a cave in a hill on a dead volcano.
