According to a new book on old Fargo, there were three Carnegie libraries. This revelation struck me like a hammer; practically a Leia-is-your-sister moment, without the ooky sexual tension. I’d never known there was a third; I knew of only two. Rumors of a third were scoffed at, and people who believed in The Third also carried around books by Immanuel Velikovsky and insisted that Beethoven wrote a tenth symphony, too. Madmen! It turns out they were right, and perhaps this is the lost library.
