The Civic Center's new façade is handsomer and more inviting. I haven’t been inside in years, though. As a kid I saw the Harlem Globetrotters (who were so cool!) and the Shrine Circus (awesome!) here; in high school I saw Blue Oyster Cult (who were wicked) and Elvin Bishop. (Crickets chirping)
