This odd stilted tableau is no doubt part of a Ned & Nan series, and I'm willing to bet that each and every one of them has the exact same plot: Ned gets tired, and Nan shoots him up with a cup of coffee while speaking in INCREDIBLY LARGE LETTERS. You can understand why she's yelling: the original strip was about an inch and a half high.
