The 1001 series appears to have been the interior design version of the 500 series we saw in the Gallery of Regrettable Food. This isn’t a good thing. Just as the 500 series clumped a bunch of crap together and hoped you wouldn’t count up the items, the 1001 series rolls out blurry photo after blurry photo in the hopes that you won’t press this 1001 business. If you count the flower petals, it’s probably so. But even that would be pushing it.

What binds these rooms together, however, is FEAR - each room, as you’ll see, is grouped around some guiding principle, a unified reason for dread. The early 70s were nervous times - and you’re about to see how fearful it truly was.
