No one has any idea what to do here. It’s modern, but at this point “modern” has lost all of its enthusiasm and momentum, and just means “all interesting details removed.” You don’t know what’s more depressing - the boring, lackluster effect of the room, or the realization that they’re probably going to sell this rug at Target next year.
