the GOBBLER: Disco Inferno
the Roost
Quotha the brochure: "Dancing, Music in the Suspended Royal Roost Cocktail Lounge." Whether this is actually a different part of the Roost, or whether there was a Royal Roost above the Commoner's Roost, I don't know. but I do that this fellow has one hell of a bright bald spot, and that his suit comes from the Moire line; the woman to whom is talking appears to be Arthur C. Clarke in drag; there is a band in the middle of the picture, where one fellow is playing a 942-key accordian; to the left, someone off camera has hurled a child into the room; to the right, there stands a couple who are NOT dancing; they're just standing there, struck by the wonder . . . the majesty . . . the sheer perfection of the mighty Gobbler.

And thus ends our tour. But the story's not over.
