In the first season of “Happy Days,”  Fonzie couldn’t wear a leather jacket unless he was standing next to his motorcycle. Didn’t want to let anyone think he was a hoodlum. (This was the only flaw in an otherwise scrupulously realistic show, aside from the fact that guys only went to the bathroom to comb their hair.) One assumes that a similar rule is at work here, too: can’t show a lass in bed unless it’s a study on beating insomnia.
