Believe it or not, those awful frozen pizzas (which I like, as long as I regard them as grease-delivery system and not a real pizza) came from a real restaurant: the famous Totino's in Minneapolis. It opened in 1951, run by Rose and Jim Totino; in '61 they started the frozen pizza sideline. Both the pizza and the restaurant survive them. Here's the restaurant's website.
