Green Hat, red face: a nice example of 20s design. “PIX” seems to have been a brand of vending machine. The book’s design was trademarked by the Albert Pick company, an interesting institutional-supply firm that seemed to make everything from matches to china. They also owned a chain of hotels at one time, including the Pick-Nicollet in Minneapolis.
