200 souls or so; founded in 1903, says Wikipedia. Locals say 1902, according to the history page.:

"The city boasted of: tailor shops, dressmakers, photograph galleries, jewelers, barbers, bakeries, a steam laundry, painters and decorators, harness makers, shoe repairmen, dancing classes, and vocal and instrumental instruction.

"Lansford had its own city band and orchestra which entertained in the Dammann Opera House. Dances were held there and silent movies were also shown there. Later a city auditorium was built and movies were shown there every weekend; dances were held on Friday nights. A bowling alley operated from 1906 to 1918."
