Bohemian didn't mean artistic types sitting around cafes smoking cigarettes and discussing art. It meant polka, brother, and lots of it.

The Bohemian band was sponsored by Grain Belt beer, and thus were proud to play the Grain Belt Polka.

The Carson sisters had distinctive yodels. That tells you something: yodelling was common enough that some styles just sounded like the others. Not that tell-tale Carson yodel!
