World Food Day is October 16. “Food for Peace” is one of several US programs to feed people in other countries; there’s also “Food for Progress” and the “George McGovern-Robert Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program,” all of which diistribute the famous Streamlined Wheat seen in the stamps.
That’s got to be one of the grimmest First Day issues I’ve seen. Check out the woman at 1 o'clock.
