The back of the note shoes the Rua 1 de Marco in 1905; the reason for including this street must have been obvious to Brazilians, but I cannot find a reason. The setting for a novel, perhaps. Note the circular turn-around for the trolleys; this saved the horses from having to walk in reverse on the way back. Horses hate that.
