We conclude our China section here, with the ornate and fizzy obverse of the previous note. It’s been exhausting, frankly; I don’t like much about Chinese aesthetics, and mish-mashery like this, coupled with the arterial-blood-spray hue, makes my head hurt. Next week: Costa Rica!
