CHERRY CREEK MOTEL, Denver CO

It was a "Luxury motor hotel," complete with . . . shuffleboard, perhaps? The design was both novel and familiar - anyone who'd ever stayed at a motel could figure it out quick enough, and if you were stuck at the far far end overlooking the parking lot, it was still a quick job to the restaurant.

It was replaced by a multi-story hotel that had none of the charm. I'm presuming this one had charm, in its own post-war fashion.
