The Ward was located in Benton, Arkansas. I say “was” because it appears to be a “Relax Inn” now; at least that’s the place with the phone number and current locale. He card notes that the motel is off “Congo Exit No. 118,” which makes it sound as though the town of Benton has a black-hole portal that links to deepest Africa.
