Great name for a Florida Keys motel. Yes, and we have a “Tornado Motel” here in the Midwest, along with the occasional “Deadly Snowstorm Hostel.” The Hurricane in Marathon - shown here in a card dated 1968 – was originally “Guy Tupton’s Bar and Grill.” It changed its name, and presumably everything else, when it later became the site of a Holiday Inn.
