Actually, it always was, now that I peer closely at the right side of the photo: it says efficiencies and apartments. There’s something about the style I can’t quite describe – it’s the tipping point between popular 60s modernism and 70s crap. It’s a double-knit. It’s K-tel. It’s cool, but it shouldn’t be.
