CLAYTON HOUSE, Waterloo IA

Never trust a drawing. No one ever stayed in a drawing.

The first story Google dredges up about this Clayton House? "Demolition begins." The story says:

The hotel was built in 1963 and has changed hands and names several times. Known as the Clayton House motel in the 1960s, it became the Twin Torch Inn in 1976, turned into the Rodeway Inn in 1988, briefly becoming a Howard Johnson motel in 1995 before rebranding as a Travel Host Inn.

The time machine shows it hadn't changed much since 1963, which might have been part of the problem. Down the street was a Happy Chef. It's been wrecked as well.
