The Lorlodge was a small chain named after the investor’s initials or someone’s daughter or someone’s wife or something like that. It’s not my job to ensure perpetual memory for these guys if they can’t be bothered themselves.
The odd part about this card? The hint of shingles in the corner. There’s no reason the photographer couldn’t have snipped that out of the shot.
It was a Knights Inn when I first did this page, but since then it's changed again. What still remains, thank the roadside gods, is something else. Swing right in the picture.
You’ll be surprised to see a rare survivor of the old open road. I'll have to find a card for that one.
