If you didn’t take that right turn at Albuquerque, but decided to tarry for the night, here’s where you could have stayed.  The oldest card in my collection. A classic old Route 66 Motel, and indeed it was Modern in Every Detail - inasmuch as it had few details at all. (Thus was Modern defined.) The office with its triple-tiered tower is particularly nifty; it looks like it should be the bridge of some super-streamlined ocean liner.
