The cushions are too far back, they slip around, your feet dangle - and the cushions are probably covered with plastic fabric that adhered to your sweaty skin when it got hot, and formed a clammy, sticky bond. If it ever got hot in Texas, that is.

Bonus points: poles. Minus points: the phone, which looks unaccountably small and has been placed on a sofa cushion. Probably didn't bother the owner at the time; it's a tiny picture, one third of the postcard, and I doubt he suspected anyone would enlarge the picture and put it up on an international computational network. Hah! Never assume such things.
