For such a venerable name, a very modern hotel. Or vice versa. Interesting entryway - it seems angry about something. I mean, it looks as if it's designed to draw blood, not customers, then fire missiles at competing motels.

(That's what I wrote when I first put the picture up years ago, unaware that the Ponderosa was next to a hospital, and lots of patients and family members stayed here.)
