It still stands, of course. Why "of course"? Because these buildings were somehow immune from the wrecker's ball. The size, the style - there was never any talk of knocking them down.

A late 20th century renovation replaced the old windows with reflective glass. It was the style of the time, but it gives the building a strangely vacant appearance. You can't tell what's going on in there, if anything.

The bank left for another headquarters in 1958, and left that one four decades later. Newer, larger buildings have risen all around the First National Bank, but it's the only one of its style and vintage in town, and remains unique. It was converted to apartments in 2013.
