I suspect this is a more recent shot, even though it looks even more distant than the previous photo. The additions of the signs and the billboards – that’s N-W National Bank, no doubt Northwestern - suggest it's another shot from the building's last days. If you're wondering about the unpaved street, well, that's snow.

As you can see, the Nicollet was two buildings – the original on the left, and the let’s cram-in-more-rooms addition on the right. Both had lighthouses for nocturnal airship docking.
