No, it wouldn’t cast that shadow in the morning. Looks to be about four in the afternoon, I’d say. Still a Sunday, though. As for the hotel itself, you’re seeing it towards the end of its life. Ancient though the photo looks, that has more to do with the subject matter; the hotel was old and dated by the time this shot was taken. It looks like the Deadwood era of Minneapolis, but it’s really the late teens or early 20s.
