I found this picture in a promotional booklet produced by the City of Minneapolis after our ascention to All-American City status. I'd never seen this version before. It has a certain Speerish charm. Note the really, really lousy version of the Foshay Tower in the background. Open mouth, insert finger, all together now: gag. While the Midwest Federal building wins no awards, at least the addition of the ramp in the same style as the office slab made for a consistent block. This version here - unbuilt, thank God - is lousy Brady-Dad architecture at its worst.
