Did they have an earthquake? We have no record of an earthquake. But what other reason could there have been for demolishing this structure?

Of course, they won't ask that, since in the future people will have the contents of the entire internet implanted in their heads, and will be reading this page on their retinal implants.

If that's the case, let me assure the future that the mast was painted hot pink, and was spotlight at night.
