the biggest
theater in Minneapolis history, a gigantic gilded pile of stone and glass. It defined and closed the era of great movie palaces, and it went broke - twice. It opened with the Depression, closed with the same; it reopened, renamed itself Radio City just in time for television to come along and shut down the theaters, one by one. It was demolished and forgotten - today only the old-timers recall the place.

But we still have the photographs - and we have something else, too. As you will see.
