The text says it’s a “skull cap” good for girls and boys - and you have to admit that they just don’t use the word “skull” enough in modern ads - and it’s made out of felt. Good for hikes. These were a Depression-era promotion for Jack Sprat food stores, a chain that died like nearly every other grocery chain. One wonders where Mrs. Sprat shopped for her fat.
