Half of a vertical card, hence the size. Not sure what look they were going for here. Like a lot of joints at the time, it had a contemporary style - i.e., stripped down, unadorned, spare and cheap masquerading as “modern” - with those old-time chairs.
Well, it worked for a while, I guess. |
