Lots to see if you weren't intrigued by the sight of crocodilians. Monkey Jungle! The Oldest House, the Mystery house, the Oldest Wooden School House, the Monkey Barn, the Reptile Pit. and of course The Rabid Cat Farm (closed for the season) and others.

I wonder how many Disneyworld killed off. Monkey Jungle is still around; their motto is "Where humans are cagred and monkeys run wild!" Oh what fun.

Potter's is still around.Say, the Fountain of Youth is still around, too. As is the Lightner Museum, although it doesn't seem to be devoted to Hobbies. The Villa Zorayda? Yes: a rich man's Moorish folly.

So next time you're in St. Augustine, pay a visit! Or start your own alligator farm. Bury them two inches deep, depress the soil with your thumb, and keep well-watered for the first few days. You should see an adorable little snout stick up in the dirt after 5 to 7 days.

By the way, nothing says “vacation” like crossing the BRIDGE OF LIONS to go see ALLIGATORS.
