The gentleman on the right seems rather surly, and who can blame him? His smart twin brother gets all the fun stuff to play with, and he has to sit here holding the earth and a urine sample.

Pennsalt was formed by five Quakers in 1850; according to the company's website, it was the first to export refined petroleum from the US, in 1860. At some point it merged ito another firm and changed its name to Pennwalt, and then - hoo boy, mergers a go-go. It's now "Arkema," one of those meaningless names that tells you nothing about what they do. Which might be the point. PENNSALT CHEMICALS sounds so . . . poisonous! Ew, chemicals. But "Arkema" could be a company than invests in small businesses in developing countries. Or a blood disease.
