Doesn't seem to be any way to get this perspective on Google Street View. They just blew through town without doing the main drag. If it looks like this today, you can see why - "main drag" sums it up.

Sears had a pharmacy? Who knew.

Note the line of buildings on the right - there has to be a story there. It’s a long commercial block with the same proportions, style, height, string course - yet one building is RED. Was the entire structure built by the same syndicate? Did someone paint a portion red at a client’s request, or was the red building the first, and the buff-hued addition an attempt to harmonize the block’s appearance while using new, fashionable hues?

Silly as it sounds, I wish I knew.

Why take the picture from this perspective? It's all street, for heaven's sake.
