The rest of Broadway can be toured at a brisker pace, since one side of the street burned down, and other landmarks will be dealt with in other sections. Here we stand at the corner of 2nd avenue, and it’s somewhat underwhelming. I provide this dull shot for context – and a little ghost ad peeking up on the left side. Bergstrom and Crowe was a furniture dealer located in the moderne Kasota-stone-clad building on the corner; I believe they had a good half-century run before fading out in the late 70s. (That’s a guess.)
