Better! In the seventies the buildings on the extreme left were part of a youth-oriented shopping complex – Vanity clothes on the ground floor, a head-shop (candles, black-light posters) upstairs. Pretty groovy, if you were 14.
The street has aged well, without much unfortunate modernization. The triangular sign with circular perforations was R & G Bootery, a shoe store that had shod Fargoans for most of the 20th century. It’s still around in Mall form.
