At first I thought this sign touted the glories of Schaefer beer, since that’s a bona-fide-looking beery logo. But Schaefer was around long before 1939. Probably a local distributor of retail refrigeration units. Unless they had access to some childhood-fantasy-land where cabinets are made out of ice cream and the countertops are made of fudge, and the toilet fills with lemonade. Which would be rather pointless, since kids wouldn't drink it, and dogs would find it too tart.
